“Clean and Spacious room, Perfect for a nights stay in Scole and not far from Diss. Love the character of the hotel, very old style. The bar area by the fireplace is lovely and cosy. Overall a great stay.”
“On entering the hotel it is clean looking with a fantastic historic look & feel. Our room was clean, shower was great. Coffee machine was a nice touch. Went down to bar, the lady who checked us in also was serving in the bar she was very friendly and helpful while multi tasking. At around 6pm the staff increased presumably for dinner service, while this is great, attention still needs to paid to patrons in the bar. Cooked breakfast was really lovely, good quality food and breakfast room had a nice atmosphere. There were issues with coffee machine but these things happen. Did have to attract the attention of a member of staff and the problem was soon resolved. Overall a nice stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.”
“Our room was small but lovely and clean with a garden outside our door for the dogs to be taken out. Service was wonderful especially by George who seemed to be a bit of a one man band. Managing, reception. Bar and being a waiter, but nothing was to much trouble and he always had a smile. Only downside was the tv was un watchable.”
“We stayed at the Scole Inn and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building itself is full of charm, character, and history — you can really feel the heritage of the place while still being comfortable. It’s a lovely setting that stands out from standard hotels. What truly made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making us feel well looked after throughout our visit. The combination of historic atmosphere and great service made for a memorable stay. We would happily return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Scole Inn to anyone looking for somewhere with personality and a friendly, welcoming feel.”
